3FOUR50
The name 3FOUR50 represents the Oxford Health Alliance's key message:
3 risk factors (tobacco use, poor diet and lack of physical activity)
contribute to four chronic diseases (heart disease, type 2 diabetes, lung
disease and some cancers), which, in turn, contribute to more than 50
per cent of deaths in the world. 3FOUR50's main objective is to facilitate
partnerships, collaboration and action among experts, leaders, innovators
and anyone genuinely concerned with chronic disease prevention.
